Song Carrier offers material from Mirabal’s three earlier releases, re-mixed and re-mastered. A member of the Taos Pueblo tribe, his life has centered around music and art as a way of worship and respect for all beings. Since his first public performance at the age of 13, Mirabal has been a prolific musician, composer, painter and author. In addition to hand-crafted native flutes, he uses rattles, rainstick, drums, and crow feathers on this album. This collection of music offers a variety of sensory experiences that only a master like Mirabal can create.
