Robby Bee and Paul LaRoche (Brulé) have put together some great compositions for the holidays with their One Holy Night album. "Come Faithful Ones" includes a choir set to a contemporary beat with rushing waters behind them. “Wakan Tanka’s Prayer” has a chorus of chanting plus a solo voice chanting that is quite haunting but is set to a fast beat. These are upbeat versions of some well-known carols with a native beat influence. Nature sounds can be heard on several cuts used as a percussive backdrop. A nice alternative to the usual Christmas music.
