Raised in Coyote Canyon on the Navajo Nation, Randell Morris was born to the Folded Arms People and for the Edge of the Water People. His paternal grandparents are of the Towering House Clan and his maternal grandparents are of the Taachiinii Clan. He comes from a background of medicine men and healers on both sides of his lineage and was brought up in the traditional ways of the Native American Church. He dedicates these 38 NAC songs to the youth and elders for preserving the language and traditions of his culture.
