Paul Guy, Jr.(Diné) lives on the Navajo Reservation and began singing peyote songs when he was only 4 years old. Paul Guy, Sr. has been a respected Road Man (peyote meeting healer) for over 15 years. A Road Man makes a great commitment to his people and must be ready at all times to handle situations that come up within the community such as an emergency healing ceremony. Performed with gourd rattle and water drum, these songs represent the strength and dedication of both singers for their religious beliefs. The CD booklet contains several photographs and information on the Native American Church. "Being a Navajo is in everything you touch. You breathe it, you taste it, you live it.
