The Midnite Express singers first formed during the summer of 1998 at the Woodland Bowl in Keshena, Wi. The name was given by the late Marlin Dickenson, Sr. The group is comprised of members of the Ojibway nation but includes Sioux, Menominee, Ho-Chunk, Taos Pueblo and Algonquin nations as well. It has been a decade since they started and they continue to sing proudly in the old style way.
