In 1994, the Spanish Mustang came back to the Blackfeet with the help of Robert and Ferdinand Brislawn who founded the first registry for this horse, once an important part of the Blackfeet culture. Darrell Norman sings in Blackfeet about the history of the Spanish Mustang and gives us a clear and moving poetic narrative enveloped by a contemporary musical background provided by Ramon Kramer and several talented musicians. Flute, percussion, keyboards, cello, violin and guitar can be heard making this an unusual contemporary album.
