Bill Miller won his second Grammy Award this year with this lively flute album. In his series commemorating the tribes in all four directions Miller's adept flute playing will focus on the northern tribes. Other instrumentation includes the guitar, other flutes, light percussion and keyboards. Interspersed with the music are prayers in the Mohican language which he blends with guitar and flute on “High Eagle Prayer.” The effect is hypnotizing as well as beautiful.
